Scholarship Eligibility

• Must be a current college student (attending college in the U.S.). Any applicants NOT currently enrolled in college will not be eligible for the Hulu Scholarship.
• Once a winner is selected, a current college transcript must be submitted to confirm scholarship eligibility. Incoming freshman must provide a formal proof of enrollment for Fall 2016.
• Must be submitted with your .edu email address.
• All applicants must submit their essays by 10/1/16 11:59PM EST.

Applicants may not be:

• Immediate family members [parent, child, sibling, grandchild, spouse or step of each] of employees, officers or owners of TUN, Inc. or Hulu LLC.

**Applications may be submitted between 8/27/16 12AM EST and 10/1/16 11:59PM EST. Winner will be selected and announced by 10/31/16.

• Send your essay (as a PDF) to Scholarships@tun.com.
• In your essay, state the following at the top:
  • First and last name
  • School
  • Graduation date
  • .edu email address

Judging Criteria

Essays will be scored as follows:

• (30%) Originality of substance
• (30%) Creativity of writing
• (30%) Alignment with the following Hulu values
  • We start with the viewer
  • We think big
  • We relentlessly pursue better ways
  • We are one team
  • Character matters, a lot
  • We embrace fun
• (10%) Grammar, style and technique of writing

** TUN, Inc. will select 8 finalists ⇢ Hulu, LLC will choose (1) winner from the finalists.

TIP: Get creative! Be persuasive! But most importantly, have fun!
