Kitchen Cabinet Kings, an online retailer of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, has opened applications for its 2024 Entrepreneur Scholarship. The company will award $2,500 in the form of a check made payable to the winner.

The company launched its Entrepreneur Scholarship in 2016 to help aspiring entrepreneurs.

“Success is not just about financial gains; it’s about making a positive impact. With this scholarship, we want to encourage young entrepreneurs to build businesses that not only thrive but also make a difference in the world,” said Andrew Saladino, co-founder of Kitchen Cabinet Kings.

Saladino knows from personal experience the difference that a scholarship can make to a student with financial need. Had he not been the recipient of a generous scholarship, he would not have been able to attend New York University as an undergraduate.

“This scholarship holds a special place in my heart — I was once in a position where I didn’t think I could afford to go to college, but receiving a scholarship changed everything for me,” said Saladino. “Now, through this scholarship, I want to pay forward the support I received and give others a chance to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.”

The scholarship is open to incoming freshmen or current college students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college, university or trade school for the 2024-25 fall, spring or summer semester.

To apply, students must write an essay of no more than 300 words on the following prompt: “Explore current trends in e-commerce and predict how they will shape the future of online business.
