Strazzullo Law & Associates, PLLC, a New York law firm, is accepting applications for its Salvatore Strazzullo Community Scholarship. 

The firm launched the scholarship program to support students in the United States who are committed to their community and volunteerism.

The firm will award $5,000 each to two students.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university. 

To apply, students must write an essay of 500 words or more on one of two prompts centered around their community and volunteer efforts. The first prompt asks students to write about what their community means to them and how they have contributed to their community through their volunteer efforts. The second prompt asks students to write about a volunteering effort that they participated in, how they contributed to it, and the lessons they learned from it. 

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2023.
