MacKenzie-Childs is accepting applications for its 2023 MacKenzie-Childs Hands On Scholarship for Design.

The company will award four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each. 

MacKenzie-Childs supports this scholarship to encourage individuals to pursue their dreams and develop their abilities in the fields of design and the applied arts.

To be eligible, applicants must be high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students who identify as Black and will be pursuing higher education in a U.S. college or university during the 2023-24 academic year.

To apply, eligible students must write an essay of 750 words or more on where they find inspiration for their art and creativity, and how they see that shaping their future.

Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2023.
