CFP Board Center for Financial Planning (“Center”) is accepting applications for six spring 2024 scholarship programs.

In all, the Center will grant 32 new scholarship awards this spring, totaling more than $175,000. 

To qualify, applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program. For a list of eligible CFP Board Registered Programs, check here.

Scholarship recipients who complete their applicable program will be eligible to sit for the CFP® exam and be on their way to CFP® certification. 

Qualified students stand to win up to $10,000 each.

While the eligibility requirements for the six scholarship programs vary, they are all intended to help students from underrepresented populations in the financial planning profession, including women, individuals from racially or ethnically diverse backgrounds, and/or those with a financial need.

With these scholarships, the Center continues its mission to build the profession’s talent pipeline and advance its diversity. Since 2016 when the Center launched its first scholarship program, the Center has awarded over $2 million to 470 awardees, a feat made possible with generous donations from sponsors and donors.
