Knowledge of website building is helpful for this scholarship!

Eligibility:

• Must be a citizen of the United States of America or a legal permanent resident.
• Must be already enrolled or accepted to a college or university in the United States.
• Must provide a copy of transcript.

How to Apply:

• Provide full legal name, email address, mailing address, and phone number at the top of the essay (these information will be kept private and will only be used to contact you; name may be used when winners are chosen).
• Choose from one of the prompts in the “Essay Topics” below:

1. What are the most important facets of a business that should be posted on the company’s website?
2. How can one effectively market their website? (Digital or Print)
3. What are the positive effects of eCommerce for a traditionally brick and mortar business?
4. What (in your opinion) are the key differences between creating a personal website and a website for a business?
5. In what ways do you see website builders evolving in the next 10 years?

• The essay must be a minimum of 750 words and maximum of 1750 words.
• Present as a blog post. Template should include paragraphs and several sections.

Deadline: April 17

Amounts:

1st place – $1,500

2nd place – $1,000

3rd place – $500
