CFP Board Center for Financial Planning has opened its fall 2024 scholarship programs for applications.
The Center will award a total of $349,500 to financially support over 60 awardees pursuing the educational coursework required to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® professional.
The scholarships are open to students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program. Check here for a list of eligible CFP Board Registered Programs.
While the eligibility requirements for the 12 scholarship programs vary, they are all intended to help students from underrepresented populations in the financial planning profession, including women, individuals from racially or ethnically diverse backgrounds, and/or those with a financial need.
With these scholarships, the Center continues its mission to build the profession’s talent pipeline and advance its diversity. Since 2016 when the Center first launched its scholarship program, it has awarded over $2 million to over 550 awardees to date, an accomplishment made possible through generous donations from sponsors and donors.
Students who qualify may apply to any of the 12 scholarship programs here.
Applications are due by October 15, 2024.
