Scholarship Summary
In the last few decade,s California’s population has exploded, to nearly 40 million today. Crowdifornia asks you to write an essay on this topic for a chance to win up to $1,500.
California’s overpopulation is a serious issue. Express your ideas and thoughts for a chance to win up to $1,500!
Eligibility:
- To submit, you must be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
- You must be at least 18 years of age by the contest deadline.
- You must be enrolled in a university or college (state or private), a community college, or a trade or career-based school.
How to Apply:
- Write a 500-750 word essay focusing on overpopulation in California and its effects on the environment, the quality of human life, and the benefits that a stabilized population would bring.
- Essays should be written using generally accepted English writing standards and follow style guidelines in the AP Stylebook.
- Submissions must have a headline.
- Essays must be submitted in a word or text document.
- Submit your essay on the scholarship page.
Deadline: November 30
