Ingenovis Health, Inc., a company that provides healthcare staffing, has launched a $100,000 nursing scholarship program to support nursing students.
The company’s mission is to “deliver jobs and bring skilled clinicians to the bedside with integrity and care” under the mantle of its seven brands – Trustaff, Fastaff, U.S. Nursing Corporation, Cardio Solution, Healthcare Support, VISTA Staffing Solutions and Springboard.
And the new scholarship initiative is an investment that reflects its goal of nurturing healthcare talent.
“Nurses are a critical resource, and Ingenovis Health is committed to offering opportunities to retain nurses as well as encourage them to complete or enhance their nursing degrees,” Bart Valdez, Ingenovis Health CEO, said in a statement. “We are honored to offer our financial support to expand the pipeline of dedicated nursing professionals.”
Open to nursing students pursuing an undergraduate or higher degree, the Ingenovis Health nursing scholarship program will award $5,000 scholarships to 20 winners.
“We have consistently sought to thoughtfully advance opportunities for both our current healthcare professionals and those who are interested in joining the field, and what better way than to fuel the engine that helps drive their success,” Dr. Robin Geiger, Ingenovis Health Senior Vice President of Clinician Advocacy, said in a statement. “By actively investing in the healthcare heroes of today and tomorrow, we will see an exponential return that will be widely felt.”
Students who qualify may apply to one or more of these four named scholarships:
Applications for all four scholarships are due by November 30, 2023, but each scholarship has its own requirements as set out below.
Sean Loring ASN/BSN Student Scholarship
Named in honor of the memory of Sean Dean Loring, former president of Trustaff, the Sean Loring ASN/BSN Student Scholarship is intended to help students who are pursuing an ASN or BSN degree.
“Sean was the salt of the earth, as we liked to say — he passionately believed that each and every person within the healthcare industry should be supported and recognized. Anyone that showed heart, effort, or work ethic — no matter what choices they may have made in a possible difficult past — deserved a helping hand. Everyone and anyone who wanted to better themselves had Sean’s support both emotionally and financially, or simply as a mentor and friend. That is why this Loring Scholarship aligns perfectly with Sean’s beliefs and his care for others,” said the Loring family. “We hope that this mission to financially aid those continuing their education within our healthcare system will carry on for many generations, helping as many future nursing students as possible!”
