The Jacoby & Meyers Latinx Community Scholarship is now open for applications.
Jacoby & Meyers, a personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, launched the scholarship to support the LatinX community in California.

Through this initiative, we strive to foster a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

The company will award $5,000 to the winning candidate.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors, as well as trade school and college students who are in their first or second year of studies.
Applicants must be of LatinX descent, reside in California, be high school seniors or first- and second-year college/trade school students, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and be actively involved in community service activities within the Latinx community.
To apply, eligible students must write an essay of 350-500 words on how their Hispanic background influenced their goals for higher education and describe their commitment to making a positive impact through community service. Applicants also need to submit an unofficial copy of their transcript.
Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2024.
