CFP Board Center for Financial Planning is accepting applications for 10 fall 2023 scholarship programs.

In all, the Center will grant over 50 new scholarship awards this fall, totaling more than $350,000. 

To qualify, applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program. For a list of eligible CFP Board Registered Programs, check here.

Scholarship recipients who complete their applicable program will be eligible to sit for the CFP® exam and be on their way to CFP® certification. 

Qualified students stand to win up to $10,000 each.

While the eligibility requirements for the 10 scholarship programs vary, they are all intended to help students from underrepresented populations in the financial planning profession, including women, individuals from racially or ethnically diverse backgrounds, and/or those with a financial need.

With these scholarships, the Center continues its mission to build the profession’s talent pipeline and advance its diversity. Since 2016 when the Center first launched its scholarship program, the Center has awarded $1.65 million to 367 awardees to date, a feat made possible with generous donations from sponsors and donors.
