Scholarship Summary
AllTheRooms believes that travel is an important supplement to any education, but also knows that not everyone has the means or opportunity to travel. That’s why they are offering a $1,000 study abroad scholarship to any student planning to or already enrolled in a study abroad program.
Do you like to travel? Do you plan to study abroad? Here’s an easy way to get some allowance for a trip of your lifetime!
Requirements:
• Submit a 600-800 word essay (in PDF) on what inspires you to travel and what you stand to gain from your study abroad experience.
• All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Applicants must also be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university.
• In your essay, please include your name, email address, and university you’re currently enrolled in.
Judging Criteria:
- Content
- Accuracy
- Writing quality
- Style
- Creativity
- Adherence to the written requirements
Prize: Winning essay receives a $1,000 to be used for their study abroad costs
Deadline: August 1, 2017
- Winner will be announced prior to the start of 2017 Fall Semester.
- Prize money will be paid via mail to the winning applicants
