The internet – the solution/cause of all of life’s problems. Do you have a lot of thoughts about the World Wide Web? Now is your time to share them with the Sleepopolis $1,000 Scholarship! 

Eligibility

• Current high school seniors in the US
• Current college students enrolled in a US college or university
• Minimum 3.0 GPA currently

How to Apply

• Create a video no longer than 5 minutes that answers the following questions:
  • How has the internet changed the way you research and buy products?
  • How has the interest changed old-school industries? (mattresses, newspapers, television, etc.)
  • If you could change an established industry for the better using the internet, which would it be and what would you do to change it?
• Upload your video to YouTube.
• Complete this form to submit your application. Include full name, school year, name of the college you plan to or are attending, and a link to the video.

Quick Tips

• Be creative, informative, entertaining! Creative videos definitely will get attention.
• Although your video doesn’t have to be a professional production, it should still be professional. The video should answer the questions but be interesting.
• Consider multiple shooting locations and your editing choices carefully.
• Make sure to answer the three questions completely and in a clear way.
• Don’t go over the 5 minute limit!
• Promote your video on social media and get your friends to like/share/comment!
