Atotech USA, LLC has established a scholarship to support Atotech USA employees’ children who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college and vocational programs.
These awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin. Awards are for undergraduate study only and are awarded for the upcoming academic year. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship Amount
Two (2) awards in the amount of $2,500 each and two (2) book awards of $500 each
Eligibility
Applicants for the Atotech USA, LLC Scholarship must be:
- Dependent* children, age 25 and under, of full-time Atotech USA, LLC employees who have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with Atotech USA, LLC as of the application deadline date; and
- Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
Scholarship Prompt:
Applicants will be required to submit an essay of 500 words or less describing one of the following:
- Their volunteerism efforts, the impact they created, and how they have learned from it
- Lessons they learned from their part-time job or team
- How they contribute to their community
- Something they are passionate about
In addition, Applicants will be required to provide these items:
- Submit grades and standardized test scores
- List awards and honors they have received
All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed by TUN (The University Network), the Scholarship Program Manager. Selection of the award recipients is made by TUN. In no instance does any employee of Atotech USA, LLC play a part in the selection. Applicants will be notified by TUN about the status of their scholarship application.
Atotech USA, LLC reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of the scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the scholarship program. Previously approved scholarships will not be affected by subsequent changes to the program.
