The Warren & Kallianos law firm is offering a total of $3,000 scholarship money to students who offer their insights on car accident prevention methods.

Write an essay about the dangers of distracted driving (and how to prevent it) for a chance to win up to $1,500!
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be high school juniors or seniors.
- Applicants must be a student currently enrolled in 2-year or 4-year colleges or universities.
- Applicants who are 17 years old or younger need to provide parental consent to enter.
How to Apply:
- Write a 500-1,000 word essay on one of the following topics:
- How has distracted driving impacted you personally when it comes to social media, texting and using mobile apps?
- What actions can local, state and federal governments take help minimize accidents related to distracted driving without overly restricting personal freedoms?
- What can individuals do to hold themselves accountable to driving more safely?
- Email your essay to WarrenKallianosScholarship@gmail.com as a Word document (in .doc or .docx format).
- In your application, include a digital photo of yourself (in .jpg or .png format).
- Also include a copy of your school transcript or proof of enrollment.
- You must also include a coversheet with:
- Your name, address, and contact phone number
- A short bio (just two or three sentences) describing yourself
- The name and address of your school
- A signature of a parent or guardian (if you are younger than 18)
Amounts:
1st place – $1,500
2nd place – $1,000
3rd place – $500
Deadline: January 15
