WebXd, a web design agency in San Diego, has just launched its WebXd Scholarship to support students in their quest for higher education.
“At WebXd, we understand the financial burden that comes with university education in America,” said Stephanie Soehn, WebXd’s operations director.
“In our efforts to make education more accessible, we’ve created The WebXd Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who have demonstrated their commitment to their education and who are ready to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond,” she added.
The company will award $2,500 to the winning candidate.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must reside in the United States and be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university for the 2024-25 academic year.
To apply, eligible students must write an essay of at least 350 words reflecting on a specific instance where a campaign, website, or social media post resonated with them, inspired them or challenged them to think differently about a particular subject.
Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2024.
