Nike offers two ways for students to save money. First, Nike offers up to 40% off on sales items every day on the Nike Sales Page.
Second, US College and High School students (over the age of 16), can claim a Nike Student Discount and save 10% off most items at Nike.com using special verification codes. The discount can be combined with free shipping promos, but it cannot be combined with other discounts.
Should I use the Student Discount or the Sales Page?
Depending on the item you are looking to buy, you may save choose one or the other method to save the most. As a rule of thumb, if the item is offered on the Nike sales page, you will save the most because the sales typically range between 20% to 40% off. For non-sale items, the student discount is the best way to save.
How much is the Nike student discount?
Students can save 10%. After successful verification, we’ll provide a single-use Nike discount code for 10% off most items. The Discount applies to the first $500 of a qualified purchase. Shipping charges and taxes are calculated after the discount. Students can also save up to 40% with Nike Sales.
How long does the Student Discount Codes last?
You can get one code once every 30 days. These Nike Discount codes are valid for one use only. Each student discount code expires two weeks after it’s issued. So get the code when you are ready to buy.
Can part-time students get a Nike student discount?
Yes, so long as you have a proper student email address that satisfies the student verification process, you can apply for the discount.
Can I use the discount more than once?
Yes, you can receive the discount once every 30 days, but you’ll need a new discount code each time. When you verify your student status, you’ll be issued a special discount code that can be used only once. When you’re ready to shop again, you can re-verify your student status and receive a new promo code.
Does the promo code expire?
Yes. The Student Discount codes are valid for one use only. Each promo code expires two weeks after it’s issued.
Can I use the student discount in a Nike store?
No, the student discount can only be redeemed on Nike.com and in the Nike App.
How does the student verification process work?
Nike partners with SheerID, a third-party service, to confirm student eligibility through their verification process. You may already have an account with sheer ID for other student discounts.
Can I apply the discount to other sales, promotions, or codes?
No, the discounts can only be used in combination with a free shipping discount code. Otherwise, it cannot be combined with a Nike coupon, other sales or promotions.
Are there any other limitations?
The Student Discount can not be used with certain select products, including but not limited to Nike By You, gift cards, select Launch, SNKRS products, and Apple products. Also, the Nike student discount is not transferable and not redeemable for cash, gift cards, credit, or previous purchases.
Can you get the Student Discount on Jordan Products?
Yes, students can use the student discount codes on Jordan products at Nike.com.
Is there any other way to save on Nike Products?
Yes, students can also find limited-time sales on Nike, or search Amazon for deals on Nike shoes and other products. Sometimes, you can find specialty items like Nike Air Force and Air Jordans on Amazon that you can find on the Nike.com website.
