BestColleges Scholarships for Black Women in STEM

Amount: $6,000. About: Administered by The University Network (TUN.com), the BestColleges Scholarships for Black Women in STEM support Black women pursuing STEM careers. The company will award five scholarships in the amount of $6,000 each. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who will be enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university in the United States for the 2024-25 academic year. Applicants must also identify as a cisgender, transgender or gender non-conforming Black woman, be a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia and be at least 17 years of age. To apply, those interested must write an essay on why they are pursuing a STEM degree and how they will impact the world through their contemplated STEM career. The essays must be original and not exceed 500 words.

Eligible Majors: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
