ACS Scholars Program

Amount: $1,000-$5,000. About: American Chemical Society Scholarships are annually awarded to minority students who are interested in pursuing careers in chemistry-related science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents, be African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian, be graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate students, plan to major or currently be majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or another chemistry-related science, and meet a minimum 3.0 GPA requirement.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Materials Science, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biomedical, Engineering, Forensic Science, Chemistry Toxicology, Food Science, Paper and Pulp Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Nano Science, Ceramic Science, Ceramic Chemistry, Ceramic Technology, Industrial Chemistry
