Amount: $1,000-$3,000. About: The Army Women’s Foundation offers annual scholarships to help current and past soldiers and their children afford higher education. Applicants must be, or be the direct descendants of, women who have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard, have a GPA of at least 2.5 or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (depending on the degree path), and have graduated from high school. Scholarships are available for those pursuing certificates, associate’s degrees, undergraduate degrees, graduate and doctoral degrees.
