Amount: Varies. About: The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) offers scholarships to women studying toward careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science. Applicants must identify as a female/woman and be enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited undergraduate program. (Graduate students are eligible if they are enrolled or accepted at a school with an associated ABET-accredited undergraduate programs in engineering, computing, or technology.) Some non-traditional and re-entry students may qualify as part-time students. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4, while upperclassmen must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 out of 4. There is no minimum GPA requirement for non-traditional and re-entry students.
