Gail Karp Orgell Scholarship

Amount: $7,000. About: Offered by the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, the Gail Karp Orgell Scholarship is annually awarded to Jewish female incoming college freshmen. Applicants must be Jewish female high school seniors or graduates who are beginning their first year of an undergraduate program at a four-year college or university in California. Additionally, applicants must meet a minimum GPA requirement of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, show involvement with athletics, demonstrate financial need, practice the Jewish principles of tzedakah and tikkun olam, and have a permanent residence in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
