Offered by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the STEM Teacher Scholarships is annually awarded to students pursuing a graduate degree or credential/licensure to teach STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) subjects at a U.S. school in grades K-12. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and living in the United States. Graduate applicants must be in at least their second semester and taking at least two semester-equivalent courses per term at an accredited college or university in the United States, have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, and meet a minimum GPA requirement of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. All applicants must not be expected to graduate in the year the scholarship is awarded. Applications open in January each year.
