Amount: $1,500-$5,000. About: The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) offers annual scholarships to graduate students interested in aerospace engineering. Applicants must be AIAA members, have completed at least one semester of graduate-level study and have a research topic approved at an accredited U.S. college or university, be studying to enter the field of aeronautics or astronautics, and have a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Applications open on October 1 each year.
