About:
AICPA Fellowships for Minority Doctoral Students are annually awarded to minority doctoral-level accounting students. Applicants must be admitted to or attending traditional, residential, full-time doctoral programs in accounting at universities accredited by the AACSB, ACBSP and IACBE. Additionally, applicants must have earned a master’s degree or completed at least 3 years of full-time experience in the accounting profession, be minority students, agree to not work full-time in a paid position or accept responsibility for teaching more than one course per semester as a teaching assistant, or dedicate more than one quarter of their time as a research assistant, have or plan to attain CPA licensure, and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
