MKS | Atotech supports education scholarships for their employees’ dependents.
Scholarship Amount: Two (2) awards in the amount of $2,500 each and two (2) book awards of $500 each*
*One of each award is designated for a high school senior or graduate and a current undergraduate/vocational-technical school student, respectively. In the absence of a qualified winner of one category, a second winner from the other category will be awarded the intended scholarship.
Eligible Recipients: High school seniors, high school graduates, and current students at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, ages 25 and below, who are dependents of employees of MKS | Atotech within the United States and meet the following requirements:
- Applicant’s parent/guardian must have been employed by MKS | Atotech for at least one (1) year prior to the start date of the scholarship; and
- Applicant’s parent/guardian must be employed with MKS | Atotech at the time of award announcement.
Scholarship Prompt: Applicants will be required to:
- Submit an essay of 500 words or less describing one of the following:
- Their volunteerism efforts, the impact they created, and how they have learned from it
- Lessons they learned from their part-time job or team
- How they contribute to their community
- Something they are passionate about
- Submit grades and standardized test scores
- List awards and honors they have received
