Amount: $5,000. About: Each year, the Austin Alliance for Women in Media awards scholarships to undergraduate students in Austin or surrounding areas. Applicants must be currently enrolled, full-time students pursuing majors related to media. Additionally, each applicant must have completed 60 or more hours of college course work and have an overall GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale or have a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in declared major courses.

Eligible Majors: Advertising, Broadcasting, Communications, Film, Digital Media, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Radio, Television
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 3.25 overall, 3.0 in declared major courses
