Amount: $2,500. About: The American Welding Society (AWS) offers the Howard E. and Wilma J. Adkins Memorial Scholarship to full-time junior and senior undergraduate students pursuing minimum four year bachelor’s degrees in Welding Engineering (WE) or Welding Engineering Technology (WET). Preference is given to students residing or studying in Wisconsin or Kentucky. Applicants must have a minimum 3.2 GPA in engineering, scientific, and technical subjects and a minimum 2.8 overall GPA. Applications open on December 1, annually.
