About: The Bechtel Corporation, an engineering, procurement, construction, and project management company, partners with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to offer a scholarship for female engineering and computer science majors studying at the following universities: Georgia Institute of Technology, Pennsylvania State University at University Park, Prairie View A&M University, Purdue University at West Lafayette, Texas A&M University, and University of Maryland College Park. Applicants need to be a woman, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be an SWE member. Applicants need to be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.
