David E. Ballard Scholarship

Amount: $10,000. About: Established with the support of the Living Legacy Foundation, the David E. Ballard Scholarship is a memorial scholarship that awards $10,000 to a student who has experienced homelessness and/or been part of the foster care system and is interested in pursuing a career in live entertainment. The field of study includes live event operations, production, music engineering, music business management, customer service, hospitality and/or other related fields. Applicants must be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum of 60 credits earned, be enrolled at an accredited college or university at the time of award in the fall semester, and have experienced homelessness within the last four years, and/or been part of the foster care system any time after age 16.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Live Event Operations, Production, Music Engineering
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 2.7
