Amount: Varies. About: The George Snow Scholarship Fund provides the Door of Opportunity Scholarship for high school seniors from the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Greater Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Texas (Central and North only), Utah, and Virginia. Scholarship recipients may attend any accredited college, university, technical or vocational school. Applicants must show that they have a financial need. Additionally, applicants must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before they apply for the scholarship — exceptions will be made for those who cannot complete the FAFSA due to their citizenship status. The program excludes employees of the Esler Companies and their dependents. Applications open on November 1 each year.
