Amount: $4,500. About: The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) offers the Dorothy Lemke Howarth Memorial Scholarship for college sophomores studying any major. The scholarship is endowed by and named in honor of Dorothy Lemke Howarth, a tool designer for Beaver Tool and Engineering Co. and a charter member of the Detroit Section of SWE.
