Amount: $4,000. About: The Elks National Foundation, the national organization of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks fraternal organization, offers $4,000 Legacy Awards scholarships, open to children and grandchildren of Elks members. In order to qualify, applicants must be high school seniors attending a college in the United States, though applicants from Guam, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines may apply their award towards schools in their respective homes. Winners are required to perform service once a year with an Elks Lodge during the four years for which they receive their scholarship.
