About: Each year, the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes Scholarship recognizes students who have organized and led an “extraordinary service activity” that benefited people or the environment. Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 18, be permanent residents living in the United States or Canada, be currently working on a service project or have completed one within the past 12 months, and be working as an individual to lead service work.
