Hope Scholarship

Amount: Varies. About: Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship is meant for Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement. The scholarship provides money to assist students with a portion of the tuition cost at an eligible college or university. To qualify, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen, be a Georgia resident, be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at a USG, TCSG, or private HOPE-eligible college or university in Georgia, meet federal Selective Service registration requirements, meet academic achievement standards, and meet certain other requirements. Students must complete either the FAFSA or the online Georgia Student Finance Application (GSFAPP) – early application is recommended so colleges can determine a student’s eligibility and awards.

Eligible Majors: All majors
Residency Requirement: Georgia
Minimum GPA: 3.0
