Life Lessons Scholarship Program

Amount: Varies. About: Offered by the nonprofit organization Life Happens, the Life Lessons Scholarship Program annually helps students who have lost a parent afford higher education. Applicants must be 17-24 years old, have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian, be attending college, university, or trade school in the United States or Puerto Rico in the upcoming fall semester, be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, and be legal residents of the United States or Puerto Rico. Employees or household members employed by The Life and Health Insurance Foundation or its affiliates are not eligible.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student
Eligible Majors: All majors
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
