Amount: $5,000. About: The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) offers the Maureen L. and Howard Blitman Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering. This scholarship is open to students of an underrepresented ethnic minority in the engineering field, including African-American, Native American, Hispanic, and Pacific Islander students. In order to qualify, applicants must have been accepted to an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year university. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens.
