Amount: $5,000. About: The American Respiratory Care Foundation and the National Board for Respiratory Care offers the NBRC Gareth B. Gish, MS, RRT Memorial Postgraduate Education Recognition Award, which awards up to $5,000 to a respiratory therapist pursuing postgraduate education leading to an advanced degree. The award includes a certificate of recognition, coach airfare, one night’s lodging, and registration for AARC Congress. Applicants must be a respiratory therapist with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
