Amount: $2,000. About: The $2,000 Nitro Scholarship is a monthly sweepstakes due at the end of each month. The application is simple and can be completed by either a student or a parent. To qualify, applicants must be legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, be at least 17 years old at the time of entry, and be either: (a) a high school senior in the United States, a college student enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university, or a student who has graduated from an accredited undergraduate school and is currently paying back a student loan for the educational expenses at such school; or (b) a parent with a child enrolled as a high school senior in the United States, enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university, or who has graduated from an accredited undergraduate school and is currently paying back a student or parent loan for the child’s educational expenses for such school.
