About:
The Ron Brown Scholar Program awards community minded and intellectually gifted African Americans who come from economically challenged families with four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 of each year). Applicants must be high school seniors, be Black/African American, excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities, demonstrate financial need, and be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card.

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement

Deadline: December 1 (annually)
