Amount: $6,000. About: Offered by the United Methodist Church, Stoody-West Graduate Fellowships provide financial support for post-graduate students pursuing careers in religion journalism. Applicants must be enrolled in post-graduate study at a school in the United States and be members of the United Methodist Church. Applicants are judged on their “christian commitment and involvement in the life of the United Methodist Church,” academic accomplishments, journalistic experience and talents, goals for the future, and “potential professional ability as a religion journalist.”
