Each year, the SOM Foundation awards its Structural Engineering Fellowship to a graduating student who specializes in structural engineering. The $20,000 fellowship is meant to support independent travel and research. Applicants must be based in the United States and be graduating with a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in civil and environmental engineering or architectural engineering with a specialization in structural engineering from a professionally accredited degree program in the United States.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student
Eligible Majors: Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
Deadline: Applications open in January 2025.
