The SVC Foundation, an organization dedicated to developing leaders in the vacuum coating industry, runs the SVC Foundation Academic Scholarships. The scholarship is open to students attending an accredited technical, vocational, two-year, undergraduate, or graduate school. Students must be enrolled full-time during the semesters of award.This scholarship program awards three or more scholarships each year of up to $5,000 to students studying in a field related to vacuum coating technology. However, the number, amounts, and types of awards that are granted of each year varies based on the availability of funding and the number and quality of applications.

Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student

Eligible Majors: Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Vacuum Coating-related fields

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
