The Computing Research Association Widening Participation (CRA-WP) and Applied Computer Security Associates (ACSA) jointly offer scholarships of up to $10,000 for women studying toward careers in information security. Since the program’s inception in 2011, over 90 women have been awarded scholarships. To apply, applicants must provide an essay describing their interest and background in the information security field, a current transcript, a resume or CV, multiple letters of reference from faculty members, and their university name and class status.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student
Eligible Majors: Information Security
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
Deadline: February 1 (annually)
