The Ned McWherter Scholars Program helps high-achieving high school seniors afford college in Tennessee. Applicants must be a resident of Tennessee, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, be on track to attend an eligible Tennessee college or university full-time, have a GPA of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT or an equivalent score on the SAT. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
