The Prysmian Women in STEM Scholarship supports the higher education journey of its North American-based employees and/or their dependents/grandchildren.

Scholarship Amount

Five (5) scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each

Eligible Recipients

This scholarship is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and current vocational-technical students, undergraduate and graduate students who identify as female, will be enrolled full-time at an accredited vocational-technical school, two-year and four-year college or university in the United States or Canada for the 2024-25 academic year, and will be pursuing a STEM-related field.

To be eligible, applicants must be employees of Prysmian and/or their dependents or grandchildren who meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants or their parent/guardian/grandparent must have been employed by Prysmian for at least one year as of March 10, 2024; and
  • Applicants or their parent/guardian/grandparent must be employed with Prysmian at the time of the award announcement. 

Scholarship Prompt

Applicants can apply through one of the these two ways:

  • Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram) – Applicants can apply by posting on social media about “Why have you chosen to pursue a STEM field for your degree?” When doing so, use the hashtag #PrysmianWomenInSTEM and tag Prysmian; or
  • Essay – Applicants can write an essay of 200 words or more on the same prompt.
