About: Offered by the Hawkinson Fund for Peace & Justice, the Hawkinson Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to Minnesota students who demonstrate a commitment to peace and justice. Past scholarship recipients have worked toward a variety of causes including international healthcare, LGBT equality, Native American rights, domestic violence, human rights, and health disparities in low-income communities. Hawkinson Foundation Scholarships are awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students, and cost between $3,000 and $5,000 each.
